Guest Session on Effective Presentation Skills for MBA Students 

Embark College organized a guest session for MBA students on 26th November as part of the module
Presentation Skills. The session was facilitated by Ms. Sanskriti Acharya, a semifinalist in the
Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking 2025. The session aimed to enhance students’
communication and presentation abilities by providing practical insights from a globally recognized
public speaking platform.

Ms. Acharya shared her journey in competitive public speaking, highlighting the discipline, practice, and
mindset required to deliver impactful presentations. She emphasized that effective presentation skills
are not limited to public speaking alone but are essential for leadership, professional communication,
and business success. Her experiences helped students understand the importance of clarity, confidence, and structure in delivering compelling messages.

The session focused on key elements of effective presentations, including audience analysis, message
organization, vocal delivery, body language, and storytelling. Ms. Acharya demonstrated how presenters
can engage audiences by aligning content with purpose and emotion, while maintaining authenticity and
professionalism. Practical techniques were shared to help students overcome stage fear, improve
delivery, and communicate ideas more persuasively.

The session was highly interactive, with students participating in exercises and discussions designed to
apply the concepts in real time. Students had the opportunity to reflect on their own presentation styles
