Embark College successfully organized a vibrant and memorable Overnight Orientation Programme for the new MBA April 2026 Intake on 21st and 22nd May 2026 at the scenic Chandragiri Hills Resort. The students departed on 21st May and returned on 22nd May after an enriching overnight stay.
On the way to the resort, students received an informative briefing session on the Chandragiri Cable Car, covering its engineering features, technical operations, safety measures, and its role as a significant tourism infrastructure in Nepal. Following the briefing, they experienced the thrilling cable car ride, enjoying panoramic views of the hills. Upon reaching the top, the group visited the sacred Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, where they attended another briefing on the temple’s historical and spiritual importance.
After the temple visit, students proceeded to Chandragiri Hills Resort for the main orientation programme. The event was designed to warmly welcome the new MBA cohort, help them build strong connections with each other, and introduce them to the academic and cultural environment of Embark College.
The orientation included comprehensive sessions covering the MBA program structure, detailed curriculum overview, academic policies, assessment methods, and the college’s core philosophy of ethical leadership and purpose-driven business education. Faculty members provided clear guidance on how students can make the most of their graduate studies, including expectations for class participation, group work, research projects, and industry engagement.
A major highlight of the programme was the experiential and team-building activities. Students actively participated in various group exercises, outdoor challenges, ice-breaking games, and reflective sessions in the refreshing natural environment of Chandragiri Hills. These interactive activities helped foster strong peer relationships, improve teamwork and communication skills, and create a supportive learning community from the very beginning of the program.
The overnight stay provided a relaxed yet productive atmosphere, allowing students to interact informally with faculty members and each other. Evening discussions and informal networking further strengthened bonds within the new cohort and gave students a sense of belonging to the Embark College community.
This residential orientation programme played a crucial role in smoothly integrating the new MBA students into graduate-level studies. The combination of informative briefings about local landmarks, structured academic orientation, and engaging team-building activities left the participants motivated, confident, and excited about their upcoming MBA journey.
The Overnight Orientation Programme reflects Embark College’s commitment to providing a holistic and supportive start to students’ academic journey, ensuring they feel well-prepared and connected as they begin their studies.
