Saurav Satyal

Academic Lead

Saurav Satyal is an accomplished academic and industry professional with a diverse background in teaching, curriculum development, and business leadership. With a PhD in Sustainable Energy Management from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, and a Master’s in International Business and Management from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, he brings a global perspective to education and research.

Currently serving as the Academic Lead at Embark College, Saurav oversees curriculum development, faculty management, and quality assurance while fostering collaboration with industry partners. 

Saurav’s teaching portfolio spans modules such as Organizational Behavior, Consumer Behavior, and Branding Strategy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His innovative approach integrates experiential learning, including case studies and management simulations, to prepare students for real-world challenges.

As a Senior Lecturer at Embark College, Saurav is committed to fostering academic excellence and inspiring students to excel in business and management.

Abiral Khatri

Abiral Khatri brings over 10 years of global experience across China, India, Lebanon, the Netherlands, the U.S., South Sudan (remote),  and Nepal, working at the intersection of finance, energy transition, and climate policy. He currently serves as Technical Expert for Green Finance Mobilization at PwC, supporting the FCDO-funded Green Growth Nepal Programme.

He has contributed to Nepal’s largest Green Climate Fund project on Clean Cooking Solutions, implemented by the Alternative Energy Promotion Center, benefiting over one million households. Abiral has also developed ESG and green bond frameworks for institutions such as Dolma Impact Fund and Nabil Bank, and co-authored a UN case study on hybrid solar systems in peacekeeping missions.

Previously, at Nepal Infrastructure Bank, he led the GCF accreditation process and served as the bank’s focal point for climate finance, with extensive work in sustainable infrastructure financing and public-private partnerships.

As an adjunct faculty, Abiral has taught at institutions including the Rotterdam School of Management, The British College, and CG Institute of Management. He currently teaches “Problem Solving and Research Methods for Managers” and “Beyond Profits” at Embark College. He holds an MSc in Economics and an International MBA from Renmin University of China, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and IIM Bangalore.

Outside of work, Abiral enjoys cycling and curating monthly community spaces like the Yale Energy Café and Climate Chautari, which bring together sustainability professionals to share ideas, stories, and spark collaborations.

Ojaswi Shrestha earned her Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance from the prestigious University of Adelaide, Australia. She has over 12 years of teaching experience at colleges affiliated with UK universities. She specializes in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Decision Making, delivering comprehensive and practical knowledge to her students. While in academia, Ojaswi worked as a Financial Feasibility Consultant, gaining valuable industry expertise. Currently, in addition to teaching, she oversees her own business while providing freelance consulting services to small-scale enterprises. Her extensive professional and academic background equips her students with practical knowledge and insights into the dynamic world of accounting and finance.

Prakash Dahal

Prakash Dahal is a persistent and inquisitive thinker with a passion for clarity and precision. With a strong foundation in quantitative approaches to management decision-making, he works as a freelance academic mentor, guiding undergraduate and graduate management students in diverse areas of study including financial management, accounting, personal finance, statistics, decision-making, and research methodology.

Pramod Rijal

Mr. Pramod Rijal is an economist, academic, and policy analyst with over 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and economic policy analysis. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, managerial economics, and research methods at leading academic institutions in Nepal. He currently serves as Visiting Faculty of Problem Solving and Research Methods for Managers for MBA programs.

Mr. Rijal holds an MSc in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham, UK, as a Chevening Scholar. He also earned an MA in Economics from Tribhuvan University and a BA in Development Studies from Kathmandu University.

His professional experience includes consultancy and policy advisory roles with organizations such as ILO, USAID, UNDP, World Bank, ADB, GIZ and the European Union. His research interests include macroeconomic policy, development economics, energy economics, labour markets, and private sector development. Subhrajit Dutta brings over 20 years of experience in Internal and External Communications, Strategic Marketing, and Digital and Social Media. With a proven track record of working alongside leadership and cross-functional teams across diverse global markets, Subhrajit has contributed to renowned organizations such as Accenture, Ogilvy, Haldia Petrochemicals, DuPont, and Mahindra & Mahindra.

A certified Master Trainer by Bosch, a global leader in engineering and technology, Subhrajit completed the prestigious BRIDGE – Train the Trainer (TTT) program in India in 2021. CA. Sudesh Neupane is an experienced accounting and audit expert who has an extensive teaching and industry experience. His experience of more than 10 years has made him the anchor of careers of young finance aspirants as well as contributing in a major way to the audit and assurance services.
CA. Neupane started as a Chartered Accountancy (CA) educator in 2014 where he taught complicated accounting and financial concepts to students.
